Driving is easy, the traffic is generally slow and other drivers are courteous and tolerant of tourists! In Barbados we drive on the left side of the road. Free maps are easy to get hold of from petrol stations and shopping centres. You will also find a map in all of our properties.
The bus system is very cheap ($1.50) and very frequent. The buses will stop for you anywhere, you don't have to be at a bus stop — just stick out your hand and wave !

If you'd like to avoid the roads, speedboats, catamarans and jet skis can be hired to take you along the island by the sea — a cooling and delightful way to get around. You can be collected from whichever beach is nearest to you, a great way to arrive at your ocean side table for lunch.
