Sugar Hill Villa

We had a wonderful time staying at Sugar Plum. It is a comfortable and well equipped house set in amazing grounds and being only a stones throw from two lovely swimming pools which we made great use of. It is a great base for exploring the west coast but you do need a car as it is off the main bus route. Susan the owner met us on arrival and was always on hand if we needed her. Good value for money property and we would definitely return

We all had a wonderful time at Sugar Plum, the resort facilities at Sugar Hill resort were absolutely amazing, and everything we needed was in each reach, being so close to Holetown. Our family really made the most of the two pools and gym, and we were pleased that beach towels were provided. The accommodation’s kitchen was fully kitted out for meals in. We’d love to come back – fabulous time in a fabulous location.

Myself and my family completely enjoyed our stay at Sugar Plum villa. The grounds of the villa and the resort in general are really beautiful. We loved lounging by the pool. The views are fantastic from the pool. The gym is good too. Susan the owner/manager is most helpful. I would wholeheartedly recommend the VIP fast-track arrival service at the airport. As well I would suggest you take the option to arrange for arrival shopping to be done for you. Sugar Plum is not within easy walking distance to the shops so factor in taxi journeys or car hire, Mr Weekes the driver was available for us the whole time.

Sugar Plum Villa was an absolutely delightful property. The Villa itself was extremely spacious and very comfortable. We had 6 guests staying there spanning 3 generations, The bedroom downstairs separated us all nicely and meant that we certainly were not on top of each other. The outside area had everything you needed and it was a pleasure to sit and unwind on the patio. One of the swimming pools was literally at the bottom of the garden, only a few steps away from the property. The whole complex is fantastic and there were a variety of evenings planned, if you chose to take part. The food in the restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced. Sugar Hill is ideally located for getting in to Holetown, literally a couple of minutes drive away. It was also well situated for exploring all of the Island very easily. Susan who owns the Villa was extremely attentive and was only on the end of a telephone, should you need anything. Thank you also to Karen at Paradise Rentals for her efficiency and help in making our holiday very easy to book. A very homely villa in a wonderful location.

Sugar Plum Villa was really great value. We stayed for five nights. Originally I wanted a villa directly on the ocean and near to Bridgetown, but Karen’s villa turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Not only is Sugar Plum just a few yards away from a totally fabulous pool, but I found out that we were less than two miles from the original landing place of the very first English settlers back in 1627 – Holetown. Less than five minutes easy drive by car, it is a ‘must see’ for history lovers like myself. It was great to show my children some history while on holiday. Sugar Plum has everything you will require. The washing machine and clothes dryer was a great bonus and the configuration of the beds was ideal for two adults and four children. The gated resort was really peaceful and we felt completely safe. We had all our tablets and devices going and the wi-fi was just fine. It was a great holiday and we would definitely stay at Sugar Plum again. Thank you Karen!
