Stroll around the Crane Hotel and along Crane Beach. The Crane beach is swept by fresh invigorating breezes. The beautiful crystal clear blue sea is fringed by a white, soft, powdery, sandy beach. It’s one of the most photographed beaches in the world – so you might as well take a few pictures yourself! The views are astounding.
Enjoy a picnic lunch, specially prepared for you on the beach at Bottom Bay. Indulge your inner Robinson Crusoe on this typically tropical island beach, tucked away on the southern coast. This much photographed, breath-taking beach is semi-enclosed by high coral cliffs that provide a panoramic view of the south shore. The scene is completed by the presence of tall palm trees that add to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the bay. Steps lead down from the clifftop and smooth waves roll into the shore. Sea turtles and whales have been reported swimming in the waters below the rocks. Bathing here is not recommended as the waves are very strong and great care should be taken.
Next we head for a leisurely stroll and an ice cream on the south coast boardwalk. Here you’ll find a friendly ambiance as you walk by the sea. People of all ages and abilities can enjoy the panoramas and retreats. Sit for a while and watch the joggers, walkers, strollers and talkers.
